Exciting Events in December!
Mood Swings Network has a number of events coming up in December:-
Dec 1st. Carol Singing in St. Ann’s Square. Come and show your support or hold a bucket for us ! Meet us there from 7 pm opposite Starbucks.
Dec 7th. Skating at Spinningfields. Cost will be £7.50 per person to skate for one hour. Meet at Mood Swings at 5.30 to walk down to Spinningfields for a drink and a skate.
Dec 14th. Christmas Party! Call us for details of our Christmas party. Tickets are £10 each for live music and hot and cold buffet. See you there!

Singing for pleasure

Mood Swings Wins Royal Approval!
PRESS RELEASE
The Queen pays tribute to Manchester voluntary organisation
Mood Swings Network, a small Manchester based charity, has received the prestigious Queens Award for Voluntary Service which is equivalent to an MBE. This National Honour recognises the excellence of the work the charity does in supporting people recovering from severe emotional difficulties and helping their friends and relatives.
The Charity will receive a certificate signed by the Queen and an exclusive commemorative crystal. These will be presented by Her Majesty’s representative in Manchester, Mr Warren Smith at a special ceremony arranged by the Lieutenancy office. Group representatives have also received an invitation to a Royal Garden Party at Buckingham Palace in the summer.
Speaking of their success, Tom McAlpine the Chair of Mood Swings Network said, “ We are thrilled to have received this prestigious honour for the work the charity does. Volunteers are the backbone of our organisation and this award is a tribute to them.”
